The terms for using Clovelly.
These are the terms for using Clovelly and this website. By signing in, you agree to them. How we handle your information is on the privacy page. Last updated 21 October 2026.
Who we are
Clovelly is run by Clovelly AI, in Sydney, Australia. In these terms, "we" means Clovelly AI and "you" means the person using Clovelly. If you use it for a company, you agree to these terms for that company too.
Your account
You sign in with a link we email you, or with Google or Microsoft. Keep access to that email account safe, because whoever can open it can sign in as you. You need to be 16 or over to use Clovelly.
Workspaces, coaches and members
Clovelly is used in a workspace. The person who sets one up is its coach. A coach invites members, sets them conversations to practice, and reads the runs they set. A run a member starts on their own is theirs alone, and their coach cannot see it. A coach can feature a standout run so the rest of the team can watch it.
A coach is responsible for who they invite and for what they write into a scenario. Only invite people who expect to hear from you.
A coach can connect an AI app of their choosing to their workspace. It acts as the coach, and can see and do only what the coach allows when connecting it. The coach directs it and is responsible for what it reads and does, as if they had done it themselves. They can disconnect it at any time from Your account.
Plans
Free has 3 seats, the coach included, and 1 scenario of your own. Each person gets 3 runs their coach sets and 10 of their own a month. Recordings can be watched for 7 days, and history goes back 30 days. Free runs are shared across everyone on Free, so at busy times a free run may have to wait until the next hour or day. We can pause free runs if we need to, and the app will say so.
Team costs USD 15 a seat a month, the coach included. Seats and scenarios are unlimited, and recordings can be watched for 30 days. Around 30 runs a month per person is what we build Team for. Nothing stops you going past that, and if your team needs more, tell us and we will work it out with you.
Sometimes we put a workspace on Team for free. There is no card and nothing to pay. We can end it, and we will tell you before we do.
Paying
Team is billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe, which holds your card. A seat starts costing when someone accepts an invitation and stops when they are removed. Stripe works out the part of the month and adds it to, or takes it off, the next invoice.
A promotional code gives the discount it describes, for as long as it says. After that, the normal price applies.
If a payment does not go through, Stripe tries again over the following days, and your team keeps working while it does. If it never goes through, the workspace goes back to Free.
Cancelling and refunds
The coach can cancel at any time from Billing. Team runs to the end of the month already paid for, then the workspace goes back to Free. Featured recordings stay watchable for 30 days after that.
We do not refund part of a month. Nothing here limits a refund the Australian Consumer Law gives you.
Your content
What you put into Clovelly stays yours: your recordings, what you say, the scenarios you write, and the replies and notes between you and your coach. You let us store and process it to run Clovelly for you, which includes sending it to the companies listed onCompanies that process your information.
We may also use runs to improve how Clovelly writes its reports, after names, companies and figures have been removed from them automatically. The privacy page says more.
Using Clovelly fairly
- Practice with your own voice and image. Do not record anyone who has not agreed to it.
- Do not put anything into a scenario you are not allowed to share, such as someone else's private details.
- Do not use Clovelly for anything unlawful, abusive or harassing, including in invitations and workspace names.
- Do not use scripts or bots to run Clovelly, or try to get around its limits.
- Do not try to break into Clovelly, copy it, or reach information that is not yours.
If someone does, we can pause or close their account or workspace. Where we can, we will tell them first and say why.
The feedback is a practice aid
The person you talk to in a run is played by AI, and the reports are written by AI. They are there to help you practice, and they can be wrong. Do not rely on them as legal, HR, financial or other professional advice, or as the only basis for a decision about someone's job.
Keeping Clovelly running
We work to keep Clovelly available, but it can be down at times, and we change it as we improve it. If we stop offering Clovelly altogether, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can ask us for a copy of your content.
What we are responsible for
The Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, and nothing in these terms takes them away. Where the law lets us limit what we are responsible for, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email coaches at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The date at the top is how you tell which version you are reading.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
