What we collect, and why.
This page covers the Clovelly product and the waiting list this site used to collect. It says what we collect, who can see it, which companies help us run Clovelly, how long we keep things, and how to have them removed. Last updated 21 October 2026.
Who we are
Clovelly is run by Clovelly AI, in Sydney, Australia. For anything about your privacy, write to hello@clovelly.ai.
What the product collects
Your name and email address, and the workspace you belong to. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, they share your name, email address and basic profile with us. When you practice, we record your camera and microphone for the run, write a transcript of what was said, and produce a report on it. If your coach reviews a run or you reply to each other, we keep those notes with the run. If you pay for Clovelly, Stripe handles your card and billing details. We never see the card number.
Who can see your runs
A run your coach set for you is seen by you and your coach. Your coach can feature a standout run to your team as an example, and then your team can watch it too.
Your coach can connect an AI app they use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, to Clovelly. Through it, they can read how a run they set for you went: whether they have reviewed it, its overall reading, and which key messages landed. The AI app never receives your recording, your transcript or anything you said. The company behind it may store what it reads outside Australia, under its own privacy policy. A run you start on your own never reaches it.
A run you start on your own is seen by you alone. Your coach cannot see it, or even that it happened.
Where your information is kept
Everything we store, including your recordings, transcripts and reports, is kept in Sydney, Australia, by Supabase. The app itself runs on Vercel, also in Sydney.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run Clovelly, for hosting, transcription, AI, email and payments. They process your information on our behalf. Some are located outside Australia, in the United States, Singapore, India and the European Union. The full list is onCompanies that process your information.
How long we keep things
Recordings are deleted automatically 30 days after the run. The one exception is a run your coach has featured as an example on the Team plan, which is kept while it is featured. If you retake a run, the first take is deleted as soon as the retake is finished.
Your transcripts and reports stay in your account while it exists. Write to us and we will delete them, or your whole account.
Making Clovelly better
We may use runs to improve how Clovelly writes its reports. Before a run is used that way, names, companies and figures are removed from it automatically. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels between you and Clovelly encrypted, and is stored encrypted. Each recording can be opened only by the people allowed to see it, through a link that expires. Signing in uses a single-use link sent to your email, or your Google or Microsoft account, so there is no Clovelly password to steal. Before we send a sign-in link, Cloudflare checks that a person, not a script, is asking for it.
Age
Clovelly is for people aged 16 and over.
The waiting list
Before Clovelly opened, a waiting-list form on this site collected your name, your work email address, your company, your team size, the conversation you would practice first, and whether you or someone else would do the coaching. We use it to write to you once to say Clovelly is open. The list is held by Brevo, an email service.
Seeing, correcting or removing what we hold
Write to hello@clovelly.ai. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will confirm when it is done. If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. It measures page views through Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. The product uses cookies only to keep you signed in.
Changes
When what we collect or who we share it with changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top is how you tell.
